Mission of God
FULFILLED LOVE.
God’s plan to complete this seemingly impossible mission would take all three of the Trinity, The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. To fulfil God’s love, mankind needed redemption for sin. For ALL sinned and fall short of God’s plan of perfect love.
Jesus, God’s only born son, being born of the virgin Mary, came to earth to live and die. After being crucified and in the grave for three days, he rose again! He walked the earth-revealing himself to many and then ascended back into heaven, leaving with us His Holy Spirit to guide and direct us in abundant life here on earth. This sacrifice of Jesus’ innocent blood was the redemption and forgiveness of our sins.
Mission of the Believer
TO ACCEPT JESUS’ SACRIFICE FOR OUR REDEMPTION.
Should we choose to accept this gift of redemption; we will have abundant life on earth and eternal life in heaven. Jesus’ sacrifice made it possible to be called Children of God. Believers are gifted access to the same power that raised Jesus from death. Study of the Bible-the divinely inspired word of God, prayer, worship, and fellowship with the other believers are all necessary to keep in relationship with God.
Mission of the Church
TO EQUIP BELIEVERS FOR MINISTRY TO THE WORLD.
Over and over, God calls us to join with fellow believers in love, to commit ourselves to His mission as part of a church family.; Many scriptures teach us of the body, the family, the flock, the temple, the priesthood- none of these things can be done individually (or online).
