Pastor Trudy
To be called by God to serve as a pastor is a privilege, blessing and responsibility.
I feel so blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart, Tommy, for over 28 years! Our two children have also been blessed to have wonderful spouses and children of their own. God is so good!
Being raised in a pastor's home I found a love for Jesus at a young age, but was brought up to believe that women should not lead in ministry. At one point I reminded God that I was a girl and therefore could not be a pastor. I'm sure I gave Him a good laugh.
Jesus and I worked it out though and I find myself pinching my arm often to make sure I'm actually awake. I love pastoring West Point Community Covenant Church and am amazed that God would bring me back to my hometown to fulfill His calling on my life.
